Many local businesses think they need a large website with a dozen pages. Most do not. If people just need to find you, see what you do and get in touch, one well-made page can do the job.
What a good one-page site includes
Start with who you are and where you work. Add a short list of what you offer, a few photos or reviews, and an easy way to contact you. A phone number people can tap and a short form cover most needs.
Write for a real person on a phone. Short sentences and clear headings beat clever wording.
Why one page works well
A single page loads fast, which helps visitors and search results. It is cheap to run and easy to keep secure, because there is very little to go wrong. It is also easy to keep up to date.

Do not skip your Google Business Profile
For a local business, your free Google Business Profile often matters as much as your website. Use the same business name, phone number and web address in both places. Ask happy customers for a review.
When to add more pages
Add pages when you have a reason. You might offer several different services that people search for separately. You might want online bookings, or you might have enough useful content to share. Until then, a strong single page is a good place to start.
Our Starter plan is built around exactly this: one fast page, with your domain, hosting and email included.
